A study from its protocol, lab results from the laboratory's PDF, site statistics in YouEDC Trials

Upload the protocol and YouEDC Capture sets the study up by itself, with a log of what to check. Lab results go into the form from the laboratory's PDF, the investigator checks every value. YouEDC Trials shows which site lags behind the study and which patients cause it. Before an eCRF amendment is released you see what it does to the data already collected. The demos gain a study in dogs and a haemophilia registry, and “My suggestions” became a tracker with answers.

YouEDC Capture

  • Lab results from the laboratory's PDF. A form with lab results has the button “Fill in from the lab's PDF”: the investigator uploads the PDF the laboratory sent and sees each row of the form next to the document's line. The laboratory's own names (“Alanine aminotransferase (ALT)”) are found by themselves, a result in mg/dL is converted into the form's mmol/L or µmol/L, and the value is checked against the range and arrow on the sheet itself (a lost decimal comma shows at once). The investigator ticks doubtful values one by one, then confirms that it is the patient's document and when the sample was taken; the form is filled in, but the investigator saves it as usual, and each value has the document in its history. If the sex or year of birth in the document differs from the card, the page warns. A name the investigator matched by hand once is remembered for the site (the lab profile). The PDF is not stored: the result lines and the file's fingerprint stay. The “Lab documents” page shows the data manager the documents and the share of corrections by site. A demo study has a report of the invented “Демо-Лаб”. No AI Lab results from the laboratory's PDF or a photo
  • An eCRF amendment and the data already collected. The “Run the draft over the working data” button on the versions page checks every saved page of the changed forms twice, with the version in force and with the draft, and shows by site: new errors, completed forms that will need adding to, new automatic queries and the queries that will close. The run only reads: data and queries stay as they are, one line goes to the audit trail. After the release completed forms stay completed and keep their SDV mark, and the forms without a new required field go to the list “To add after an amendment” of their sites. In both demo studies the eCRF is released as version 1 at the launch, an amendment a month ago added the required “Neck circumference”, and the draft of version 3 narrows the expected blood pressure range QA environment of a study
  • A study from its protocol. Upload the protocol as DOCX or PDF (New study → “Set up from the protocol”), and YouEDC Capture sets the study up from it: the visits with their days and windows from the schedule of activities, the forms from the form library, the study profile, the test environment with the draft published to it and the protocol in the TMF inbox. The auto-setup log says row by row what was done, what was done on an assumption, what to set up by hand and what needs a licence, quoting the protocol and its page; contradictions between sections (the age range in the synopsis and in the criteria, say) are shown on their own. While rows “to check” and “contradiction” wait for a decision, version 1 of the eCRF is not released, and every decision goes to the audit trail. No AI: the same file always gives the same set-up, and the log keeps the SHA-256 of the file and the version of the rules. Try it on the training protocol YE-330-302 (type 2 diabetes, 10 visits, two contradictions left in on purpose): the study is your demo and is deleted in one click. The Create a study button of Protocol to study build now does the same A study set up from its protocol · Protocol to study build

YouEDC Trials

  • Statistics by site in YouEDC Trials. The new Statistics tab shows every site next to the study: enrolled against the plan for today, dropped out, queries per patient and older than 14 days, SDV, visits missed or out of the window, consent, important deviations, adverse events per patient and days since the monitoring visit. A cell's colour compares the site with the median of the study's sites (grey with fewer than 5 patients). Every number opens the site with the table of the patients behind it, and a patient's code opens their card in YouEDC Capture. The numbers come from a daily summary by site, so the page is fast in a big study too; the Count again button refreshes it. An investigator sees their site against the median, other sites unnamed; monitors see every site; the sponsor sees the numbers, and the patients only when the project manager allows it. There are no treatment groups in the statistics. Demo studies now have YouEDC Trials filled in: site activation, visits with approved reports, classified deviations YouEDC Trials

Portal

  • The third demo study is a veterinary one: the drug YE-303 against placebo in dogs with osteoarthritis (VICH GL9). The patients are dogs: breed, sex, neutering, body weight and condition score, a microchip number. The owner signs the consent and keeps the weekly ePRO diary of the dog's pain and mobility; the vet scores lameness at walk and at trot, joint radiographs are attached as DICOM, the blood tests have canine ranges. Randomisation in blocks by clinic and body weight, an eCRF amendment, the YouEDC Biostat charts and PDF, YouEDC Safety cases with narratives about the dog: all ready right after creation. The scales and the diary are our own, no licensed questionnaire is reproduced. Everyone may keep three demos at once; more with a personal limit an administrator sets on the user's card Demo project
  • “My suggestions” became a tracker: how many suggestions you gave, how many are implemented, planned and will not be done, and under each suggestion T.G.’s answer, what was done or why not. The admin writes the answer to the author apart from their own note. The page also shows your place among everyone who sends suggestions: the most active participants of the beta testing will get prizes Suggest to the developer
  • The first demo that is not a clinical trial is a haemophilia A registry: children and adults followed for years, with no randomisation and no study drug. A follow-up visit every 6 months for as long as the person takes part (a recurring event of YouEDC Capture), logs of bleeds and treatment regimens (prophylaxis or on demand, product switches, an inhibitor and immune tolerance induction), joints, laboratory, the person's own questionnaire on the phone. The bleeding rate follows the regimen and how regularly the doses are taken. People are lost to follow-up after unanswered calls and letters, withdraw consent, move to another centre; a new consent version asks everybody to sign again, and each yearly report gets a data cut. In YouEDC Safety the suspect drug is the product the person was on when the event began. The demo page groups the studies: clinical trials, real-world data, registries. The products YE-800 to YE-809 are invented, the questionnaire and the joint assessment are our own Demo project
